We the Change: A Night of Power

On 15th October, RECLAIM and Young Manchester put on a creative campaign event called ‘We the Change: A Night of Power’. We brought together Manchester activists and performers to inspire and encourage young people into campaigning.

We heard from Mea, Akeim and Charlotte who gave moving answers to questions from the audience.

Mea is a Project Officer from Kids of Colour and is working on campaigns such as No Police in Schools.

Akeim used to be on RECLAIM’s programmes and now runs Manchester Job Opportunities. His dedication to the community has resulted in him being awarded a British Empire Medal from the Queen in 2017.
